David Hockney was born in Bradford England on July 9th 1937. He was a significant contributor to the pop art movement during the 60's. He gained recognition for his abstract paintings about homosexual love. He also created collages with polaroids, this can be seen through the project we did. We used several photos to create one abstract collage.
While taking photos, I imagined a 4x3 grid. I took an overall photo and then zoomed in on sections, taking the photo from left to right. In photoshop, it started off being very difficult for me. My photography partner helped me, and then I was able to create two collages. After I understood it, it was pretty simple. While putting the photos together in photoshop, the goal was to make it abstract. I think I accomplished that.
